Basic Life Support (BLS) & Patient Transport
🡆 Used for non-emergency patient transport and discharge
🡆 Equipment’s - stretcher, oxygen supply system (B-type (small) or D-type (big) cylinders) and basic first aid kit
🡆Vehicle type - Eeco or Tempo traveller
Advance Life Support (ALS)
🡆ALS has all essential life-saving medical equipment such as Ventilator, Syringe Pump, Suction apparatus, 3 kinds of Stretcher along with oxygen supply system.
🡆 ALS Ambulance carries emergency Paramedics onboard.
🡆 The patients in an ALS ambulance require a higher level of medical monitoring and include those who need continuous IV drips, those on a chronic ventilator.
Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
🡆 ACLS has additional cardiac equipment called a defibrillator along with ALS facilities.
🡆 ACLS is used in cases of emergencies, accidents, and situations where patient need to be recovered from Cardiac arrest.
🡆 ACLS always manned with Emergency Paramedics who perform Pre hospitals care.
